We started business in 1965 as Mercury Manufacturing Co.  In those years of operation we made parts for Collins Radio, Recognition Equipment, Space Corp., Varo, Otis Engineering, Geotechnical Corp., and sub-contracted parts for LTV., Texas Instruments, Bell Helicopter from other shops.  We manufacture parts for various commercial sources as well as for aircraft, and electronics markets.
            We cater mostly to short run, prototype, and tooling but will contract anything that will fit our operation and give our customer quality and on time delivery.
            In January 1993 we changed the company name from Mercury Manufacturing Co. to Innovative Mechanical Technology and as of December 1996 incorporated under the laws of Texas.
           We had a project, which gave us capabilities and experience in molding and/or machining urethane tooling.  We work with our customers on product, tooling, producibility and engineering.
            Our quality consciousness, workmanship, imagination and interest in our customers needs will make us a valuable part of your business endeavors.  We have a 24hr. Pager and gladly work breakdown situations.  We can receive DXF file DWGS by e’mail and convert them to DWGS or CNC program files.
